Roughly four years ago, Astak (the maker of the Mole camera) let us know that they would stop bundling the Yoics remote access service with their product and instead would help customers directly. As a courtesy, we have kept up this site and associated apps as a benefit to legacy users. As of 5/28/2020 the Yoics portal has been deactivated.
Try the following connection options in iSpy or Agent to connect to your Astak IP camera. If an FFMPEG option is available we recommend you try that first as it will often be faster and include audio support. You can also try the VLC plugin if the FFMPEG option isn't working.
The settings for Astak cameras are built right into our free surveillance software - click 'Add' then 'IP camera with wizard' to automatically setup your Astak cameras. Remember to also try connecting via ONVIF as Astak cameras may support ONVIF connections as well.
Start typing in the 'Make' box to find your camera. If your camera is not listed then click 'Get Latest List' in settings or when on the add camera wizard. If you need to modify the URL then add or edit the Astak camera and you can modify the connection type and URL in the video source dialog (button is top of the first tab).

OpenEye EasyNVR recorders are sold with motion detection recording enabled by default. To get the most out of your recorder, you should configure the motion detection settings for each camera to fit the scene it is capturing. OpenEye recommends using OpenEye cameras with the latest firmware version (pc20141203NSA or newer) for optimal motion detection performance with OpenEye EasyNVR recorders.
Note: You may want to confirm which firmware version your IP cameras are using before completing this process. For instructions on verifying the current firmware version, please refer FAQ #881.
To update the IP Camera Firmware on the cameras connected to your EasyNVR, you will need to complete the following tasks.
If you do not already know the IP address for your EasyNVR, you can find it using the recorder itself.
On a computer connected to the same network as your EasyNVR, open a web browser and navigate to openeye.net.
After the firmware update is complete, you must reset each camera to its factory default settings. This will overwrite all existing configuration settings.
After updating the firmware and loading the factory default settings for all of the cameras connected to your EasyNVR, you will need to restart the recorder.
