But did you know that you can add fonts in the PicsArt app too?
Drawing over photographs or using text to create brand new images are already two ways in which people use fonts on the PicsArt app, but once you install fonts that you’ve made, or have found online, you can let your creativity run wild! It’s super simple to customize fonts, and making your own lettering style means that you can have a truly unique font ready for use at any time in the PicsArt app!
All you need to install fonts into PicsArt is a USB cable, your mobile device and your computer. If you prefer to download fonts online rather than taking the time to customize fonts of your own, ensure that the .zip file that you have downloaded is fully unzipped before you begin. If you have created your own font, ensure that the folder is organized and that all the files are working perfectly.
It takes just a couple of minutes to add fonts, and then you will be ready to use them in your artwork. Could it be any easier?
A Step by Step Tutorial
Step 1: Connect Mobile Device to Computer.
Ensure that your mobile device is connected to your computer via USB and your mobile acts as a data storage (on some devices it is called “mounting the SD card” or acting as a “media device”).
Step 2: Select Fonts.
On your desktop, open the folder that contains the custom fonts that you would like to add. Lightroom 5.1 download mac. Copy all the fonts that you’ve chosen.
Step 3: Add Fonts.
Find “PicsArt” folder in your mobile device, open “PicsArt” folder and find “Fonts” folder in it. If you are not able to locate “Fonts” folder, create one. Drag your custom fonts into that folder. Step 4: Add Text on Photo.
On your mobile device, open up the PicsArt app, then select “Photo” and choose a photo that you would like to add text to.

Scroll along the bottom to find the “Text” button, then select it. Click the “My Fonts” button at the very top of the screen, and select “My Fonts” from the drop down menu.
