Go into the System configuration applet (control panel-system, switch to classic view if needed), and open the device manager. You'll see the non-working floppy drive (disregard the usb data bar thingy). Right-click it and choose 'Update Driver Software'. Choose that you want to browse your computer for drivers.
There are two parts two connecting any device to a Mac
1) Physcal connector
If your device has a USB connector and your Mac has USB port, then you can connect it
Go to the installation folder. Right-click MONSTER.EXE and select 'Properties'. /monster-truck-madness-windows-10.html. Set compatibility options. Check checkbox for 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:', and from the dropdown box which becomes enabled, select 'Windows 95'. Click on the 'Compatibility' tab.
2) Protocol
The Mac need to communicate with the external device. For that they have to speak the same 'language'. Either the device follows standard OSX protocol or the the device has to provide an 'interpreter' which is called a Driver. This is a file that needs to be installed on your Mac so it knows how to communicate with the device.
To find out if your external device is compatible, you can just plug it in and see if it is recognized and functions as expected, or check the manufacturer's website for compatibility and driver information
Hope that helps
