Webcam missing on MSI Laptop after Windows 10 upgrade. It seems that this has been a major issue with the Windows 10 upgrade but I still can't find drivers or help from any MSI website. Please follow the steps below to manually adjust the system settings for the built-in webcam.
1. Make sure the webcam device is enabled. (The webcam can be enabled by pressing Fn+F6).
2. Manually switched the video device to the default HD webcam.
- If you're using the Windows built-in Camera APP, select the change camera button at the top of the screen.
- If you're using other 3rd party webcam application, enter the video settings page to switch the webcam device to the default HD Webcam.
3. If all options above don't help to solve the problem, please uninstall the TriDef SmartCam application from Control Panel > Uninstall a program.
